I have been interested in Photography for several years. I got my first
camera about 5 years ago. My first camera was a digital camera so
I have no real interest in non digital camera's. I like the fact
you can take as many pictures as you want and only develop the best
ones. The model of my first camera was an Olympus D-360L it was
decent for its time, however we all know how fast technology moves in
this industry.
So I decided to get a new camera in December of 2005, and after a lot of checking around and reading reviews I decided to get a Canon EOS 20D. I have been pretty happy with this camera and it has allowed me to capture lots of great moments and beautiful images. I decided to build this website to show some of the images I have captured over the last 2 years. I know they are not the best photos in the world but I am constantly learning and hopefully in a couple more years I will be able to show you some improved talent.
I have bought 4 lenses over the past 2 years I will go ahead and list them for you here!!
Canon EF 85mm f1.2L II USM This lens has been a pretty good lens for portraits mainly very nice but expensive.
Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM This lens I use for long range shots or for nice Macros and DOF shots!!
Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 Image Stabilized USM SLR I used this lens for a wide variety of shot including landscapes, everyday snapshots and many other situations.
Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM This lens is mainly used for Macro shots but could also be used for portaits.
I want to add one thing, no matter how many lenses you have you always want more, and even though you have good lenses it wont make you take great pictures you have to learn how to use the ones you have. I finally learned this myself, just wanted to help you save some money and not waste your time.
